Celebrating Triumph and Teamwork: Highlights from Our 2024-25 Annual Athletic Meet

We are delighted to share the resounding success of our Annual Athletic Meet, held on the 17th and 18th of February, 2025! The event took place under glorious blue skies and was a true celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and community spirit.

This year’s meet provided an incredible platform for our talented students to not only showcase their athletic prowess but also demonstrate their leadership and collaborative skills. Their dedication and teamwork ensured a smoothly run event, creating an atmosphere filled with energy, joy, and excitement.

We were deeply honoured by the presence of our distinguished guests, including Mrs. Winnie Chan, BBS, a member of the Advisory Board of Po Leung Kuk, and our Guest of Honour, Ms. Angel Wong Ka Yan, widely known as the "Queen of Buns." Ms. Wong captivated the audience with her inspiring speech, highlighting the Olympic Motto of striving to be “Faster, Higher, Stronger - Together” while fostering unity and mutual respect. Her legendary achievements at the Cheung Chau Bun Scrambling Competition served as a powerful reminder of the importance of perseverance and determination, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

One of the standout moments of the meet was the 4x100m Invitational Relays, which brought together exceptional athletes from across our community. We were thrilled to welcome the following schools to participate in this exciting event:

  • Po On Commercial Association Wan Ho Kan Primary School

This collaboration not only highlighted athletic talent but also strengthened our bonds with the wider community, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition.

A heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their outstanding performances throughout the meet! Your hard work and determination truly shone, making the event an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

2024-2025年度周年運動會圓滿舉行

章中本年度的周年陸運會已於2025年2月17至18日於青衣運動場圓滿舉行！一眾運動健兒在蔚藍的天空下進行精彩刺激的比賽，並展現出章中人追求卓越以及團結的特質。

陸運會能夠順利舉行，除了運動員的積極參與外，亦有賴同學們謹守不同的崗位。透過擔任各類型的工作，他們能發揮自身的領導才能和提升協作能力。

在本次陸運會中，我們更感謝保良局顧問暨本校校董陳黎惠蓮女士 BBS，以及本次的主禮嘉賓——「包山后」黃嘉欣女士，到場鼓勵及頒發獎項予運動員。黃女士在學習攀登的路途上，縱使遇到種種的挑戰，她仍能迎難而上及一一克服。黃女士除了在場分享自己的經歷外，也向同學宣揚奧林匹克格言中所強調「更快、更高、更強 - 更團結」的理念，希望同學能努力實踐。黃女士在長洲包山攀爬比賽中取得的傳奇成就，深刻詮釋了堅毅的重要性，使我們獲益良多。

此外，4x100米友校接力邀請賽乃是本屆陸運會的焦點之一，讓我們匯聚來自不同學校的優秀運動員，互相交流學習。我們非常感謝以下學校的參與：
