The school places high importance on cultivating strong values, discipline, and a sense of national identity among our student body. In line with this commitment, members from our three key uniformed groups—the Scouts, the Red Cross, and the Sea Cadets—recently participated in specialized training focused on executing the official flag-raising ceremony.
This rigorous training was meticulously designed to achieve multiple developmental goals. On an immediate level, it served to cultivate exceptional discipline, mutual respect, and precise teamwork among the participants, skills that are integral to the successful execution of such a formal and symbolic ceremony. The overnight S4 Leadership Training Camp aims to cultivate students' leadership abilities, teamwork spirit and personal growth through diverse activities. These include problem-solving exercises, adventure training, a night walk, and reflection sessions. This enables our students to learn how to tackle challenges, realise their potential and build positive relationships with others through practical experiences. Through participation in these activities, students will not only enhance their leadership skills, but also forge lasting friendships and cherished memories.
The NICER Challenge Session: A Day of Fun and Friendship What a lunchtime! NICER Challenge Session 1 was a burst of energy, laughter, and teamwork as our students dove into friendly competitions in badminton, table tennis, and basketball. Cheers rang out across the courts as players showed off new skills, encouraged one another, and collected NICER Points for great sportsmanship and participation. The mood was playful and inclusive — classmates cheering from the sidelines, teachers joining in the fun, and lots of high-fives all around. It was beautiful to watch friendships grow through shared moments of excitement and support. We also marked Positive Education Casual Wear Day, with students and staff choosing comfy, colourful outfits that reflected the positive spirit of the school. Leadership Succession: Junior Class Representatives Benefit from Peer-to-Peer Training
The school prioritizes the development of student leadership and effective governance at all levels. To ensure continuity and enhance organizational skills among our emerging leaders, a Junior Leadership Training Programme was recently conducted for the current cohort of junior-form class representatives.
The core of this valuable training initiative involved the immediate past members of the Student Union (SU) Committee. These experienced senior students shared their practical knowledge on essential leadership duties, including effective management of class meetings and the successful planning and execution of school activities. Through this direct peer-to-peer exchange, the junior students gained a wealth of practical leadership techniques, event planning expertise, and crucial team management knowledge. This valuable succession process equips the class representatives with the necessary skills to effectively convene class discussions, organize engaging in-class activities, and fulfill their duties throughout the academic year.

2025－26年度學生會答問大會於2025年10月8-9日順利進利，作為學生會選舉的前哨戰，兩閣陳述政綱，亦可向對方提問有關政策的問題，並進行辯論。同時開放提問環節給全校學生，有助於學生了解不同內閣的政策和理念，並讓學生參與其中，促進民主參與和對學校事務的關注。
The SU Question and Answer Session for the 2025-26 was held on 8-9 October 2025. Serving as a precursor to the SU elections, the session featured both cabinets presenting their policy platforms, posing policy-related questions to each other, and engaging in debate. A public Q&A session for students was also held to allow the student body to understand the policies and philosophies of the competing cabinets. This participatory approach fosters democratic engagement and heightens awareness of school affairs.
